so, if you've watched FullMetal Alchemist, then you will notice the tattoo on her shoulder. you will also notice that it says The Eighth Homunculus. thats because Father made her
so, her story's a bit like this:
Father created her, saying that her mission was to guard the Elric Brothers, as they were vital sacrafices. Fear didn't know what that meant, and none of the other Humunculi told her. ( oh ya I'll just put here that her ability is to kinda paralyze people in fear by bringing bad memorys to mind... or she can change her form like Envy xD )so she did as she was told, and gained Ed and Als trust. she even got to the point where she learned Alchemy and became a State Alchemist.
she went everywhere with Ed and Al, and at one point after Ed and Al sneaked out to the 5th labratory, she heard him describe 2 people at the scene; their identitys matched Envy and Lust, 2 other humunculi. at that point, Fear is thinking: WHY DID THEY ALMOST KILL HIM?! so she was as confused as hell.
after that, the story went on as it does in the show, but, when Ed was with Fear ( oh ya I forgot to mention her fake name she used was Moss ) and some other people ( Cause I can't remember who was there, but I know Roy showed up) under the 5th lab. where father was, Envy showed up. he saw Fear, and of course being the way he is he blurted out that Moss was Fear and that '' you're no longer needed, seeing as though Ed and Al are still alive.'' this EXTREMLY ticked off Fear, seeing as though she had formed an actual bond with Ed and Al, and now they couldn't trust her cause she was a Homunculus.
in short, Fear helped Roy kick Envys ass ( I'm not saying why Roy was kicking ass xD but Fear was cause she hated Envy), and before Envy committed suicide, Ed kinda just glared at Fear and said to leave.
she left, not really caring about what happened to Ed. but she realized Envy said that she was no longer needed, therefore Father must have told Envy to kill her. so, Father was now her enemy.
so she went and kicked Fathers ass alongside Ed and evrone else
but, in the process, Father severed her left leg. naturally, as a homunculus, she should have been able to regenerate said leg. but Father did something that didn't allow her to regenerate her leg. she almost got killed, but Ed came and saved her sorry butt xD
after all that jazz that happened after Ed killed Father, Ed Al and Fear went to Winry so Fear could get Automail for her leg and then.... ya.... xD idk what happens after that... but OMG that was a long couple of paragraphs.......
personallity wise, Fear is a lot like Greed; kinda only cares about herself, but cares about those close to them. when she's with Ed and Al, she's pretty carefree, and always jokes about Eds size but when she's with Father or the other Homunculi, she's more curious when it comes to what they're doing with the country, but when she's fighting she's super feirce and doesn't care about fatalities. the sense of fear makes her stronger, so she often tosses her foe around a bit before she kills them
